Offering upscale food and casual prices, the Line Cook position is of central importance to the success of the restaurant. The Line Cook ensures great taste, presentation, quality, and consistency for all of the restaurant's menu offerings. The Line Cook is responsible to prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, or other foodstuffs in restaurants. May order supplies, keep records and accounts, price items on menu, or plan menu.
