Summary

Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a highly-motivated individual to join our Finance team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and reconciling general ledger accounts, assisting with month-end close, fixed asset tracking, performing analyses of financial data, and assisting in the annual audit process. The Accounting Manager will also contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist with ad-hoc projects. 

Responsibilities

• Facilitate monthly general ledger close process including reviewing various journal entries (prepaid expenses, expense accruals, fixed assets etc.), analyzing general ledger accounts, and maintaining financial close documentation/reports
• Review and approve account reconciliations
• Make recommendations to improve efficiency and/or accuracy of monthly close and other accounting processes
• Work cross-functionally with other groups to foresee potential accounting issues and recommend practical solutions associated with business transactions
• Work on ad hoc accounting projects as needed by finance management
• Facilitate annual audit by working directly with auditors to fulfill requests
• Assist with the preparation of reporting packages for internal and external stake

Experience

• CPA is required
• 4 years of accounting experience 
• Public accounting experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• BS degree in Accounting 
• Experience with Netsuite a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal skills, as well as ability to interact with all levels of management
