Overview:
We are a well respected dermatology practice seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our friendly healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing quality care to patients and support healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks, including rooming patients, responding to patient messages, writing and calling in prescriptions, obtain necessary prior approvals for medications, and administering injections and self injection training for patients.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.
- Follow protocols for infection control and safety measures.

Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
