Dumont Law, LLC is Hiring a Paralegal Near Hartford, CT

Solo practitioner seeking a full time paralegal to assist principal attorney in primary practice areas including: family, probate, criminal. Candidates must have experience as a paralegal. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, possess excellent grammar and typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and computer/software savvy.

Daily responsibilities includes: preparation and drafts of legal documents, research, drafting agreements and pleadings related to litigation and non-litigation matters, client management, court e-filing, office management, and administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling, copying, filing, opening and closing files.

Prior experience as a paralegal is required.

Ability to speak a second language is a plus, but not required.

Certification in paralegal studies or equivalent experience highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
