The Internal Audit Intern will have opportunity to integrate their academic study with practical experience within a corporate environment, and assist the Internal Audit team with documentation & testing requirements of the SOX program. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Contributes to the documentation and testing requirements of the Company’s Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) program (i.e., participating in control interviews/walkthroughs, preparing SOx flowcharts/narratives, performing SOX testing, summarizing results, etc.). Assists the audit team members in the execution of operation, financial and/or IT audits and gain insight into risk management through exposure to a variety of audit assignments (i.e., examining and reviewing documents to ensure compliance with company and department policies and procedures, preparing audit work papers to submit to audit management for review, etc.). Gains knowledge of basic auditing and accounting skills related to professional auditing standards, as well as, the fundamentals of Corporate internal controls environments. Prioritizes individual workload and communicates progress and efficiency in a timely manner to meet established deadlines. Discharges duties and responsibilities in a professional manner that is consistent with company policies and procedures, including the handling of Company confidential and/or sensitive data Performs other related duties and activities as required. WHAT YOU’VE DONE: Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Information Systems, with coursework in accounting, data analytics, economics, computer programming, etc. Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Expertise in effectively using common Microsoft Office applications and advanced skills using Excel Effective time management skills, ability to multitask, and effectively carry out oral and written instructions Possess strong written and verbal communication skills Other Requirements: Travel: 0% Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location. Physical: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
