A key member of the performance marketing team, the Strategic Account Manager will represent the company externally with key accounts and serve as the voice of these accounts to internal stakeholders. The role is responsible for activation of new accounts, and supporting business development to cultivate thriving, profitable, new strategic partnerships. The role will also support the planning and forecasting of business KPIs and enact strategies to meet or exceed business goals tied to performance.
To be successful in the role, the incumbent will be analytical and intellectually curious, while also being highly relational and able to forge strong working relationships with key accounts and internal stakeholders. She / he will be driven to optimize performance at each stage of the sales funnel, analyzing data and surfacing ideas to improve the business impact of each partner and lead generation program. They will be eager to learn and take a proactive approach to understanding the company’s business model and operating environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an Enterprise account management role serving Fortune 500 companies; with some experience in the life insurance industry, or another direct-to-consumer protection-oriented business.
