Job Summary:
Applicant must reside near the southeastern Ohio sales territory.
DRV Inc., with offices in Ohio and Pennsylvania, is a high-tech distributor and UL508A industrial control panel builder has provided motor and motion control solutions since 1981. We are seeking a dynamic industrial control technical salesperson. This territory covers southern Ohio and parts of West Virginia.
DRV Inc. is a variable frequency drive, motor control products, motion controls and gearing products distributor. We are also a UL508A panel builder, and distributed products authorized field service provider.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication and relationship building with potential clients.
Duties:
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with product managers to provide technical solutions and achieve sales targets
- Utilize project management skills to oversee sales initiatives
- Engage in pre-sales activities to understand client requirements and develop solutions
- Demonstrate proficiency in sales techniques and strategies
Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and CRM systems.
- Ability to conduct joint sales calls with product managers and suppliers effectively
- Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience in analyzing customer data and market trends
- Familiarity with project management principles
- Prior experience VFDs and motion control is a plus
