Dr Support Dental Practice is Hiring a Front office receptionist Near Price, UT

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented team member to become our Front Office Receptionist. Qualified candidates will possess the following experience, qualities, knowledge, and competencies :

  • Knowledge of dentistry and dental codes
  • Dental software knowledge (Dentrix)
  • Present a professional image (both in-person and over the phone)
  • Perform tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and within specified periods
  • Be punctual and customer service oriented
  • Greet guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
  • Answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments in accordance with office guidelines
  • Ensure that all patient appointments are confirmed
  • Post charges and payments accurately in patient accounts
  • Assist patients with the completion of paperwork
  • Notify back office staff of each patient’s arrival
  • Ensure that all new patient appointments have a referral source attached
  • Accurately complete insurance benefit breakdowns
  • Confirm receipt of lab cases two days prior to the patient’s appointment
  • Ensure that all patients due for recall or continuation of treatment are scheduled for an appointment at the appropriate time
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment
  • Provide assistance to the Business Manager in performing front office tasks
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other pertinent laws or regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, HR policies and practices)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Have a sense of urgency in your daily tasks
  • Tenacious
