Dr. Charlene Deluca, MD is looking for a full time MA/Medical Assistant.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a medical assistant training program and/or 1 years of medical assistant experience in an urgent care, physician’ s office, or emergency room setting.
- Must meet all other state requirements by law, including but not limited to all state requirements, and licenses, where applicable.
- If required by state must maintain current certification from the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or registration from the American Medical Technologists (AMT), or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board.
- This position requires the AHCA Level II background check (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all clinicians that have direct face to face contact with members OR employees who will have access to confidential patient data and will require renewal every five years.
- Medical terminology, communication skills and basic knowledge of computers.
- Able to learn a new EMR system if applicable.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
- This requires the ability to stand and sit for hours at a time (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
- The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, no weekends or national holidays.
- Part time is also definitely negotiable.
