We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. They do not need to be skilled as we can train, however critical thinking and attention to detail is a must. The ideal candidate will assist the doctor in providing patient care in a clinical setting. This role requires a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Patients are typically elderly and can be challenging.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with patient examinations and procedures under the supervision of the doctor

- Maintain patient medical records and ensure confidentiality

- Provide excellent patient service and address inquiries professionally

- Must be able to type at a proficent level (data entry is on a computer)

Requirements:

- Ability to perform basic clinical tasks

- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices

- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

This position offers the opportunity to work with one of the premier surgical dermatologists in the nation. She is willing to teach and guide you, but can not tolerate irresponsibility and carelessness.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.62 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
