Summary:
DPS is seeking a talented Project Manager to support a capital project with our animal health client in Elkhorn, NE. The selected candidate must have strong experience working on Life Science projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plan to keep the client in control of project outcomes.
- Provide single point of contact for client for all design and construction phases of project.
- Develop, maintain, and update a master project schedule and budget with owner and project team during pre- construction and all phases of project.
- URS Development.
- Develop appropriate communication tools to update client throughout project and establish internal approval process.
- Review design drawings and specifications for conformance to client’s facility requirements.
- Provide weekly project management support, budget/schedule oversight, pay application management, etc.
- Review and recommend actions on change order requests.
- Coordinate outside vendor activities and facilitate interface with general contractor on installation and building access issues.
- Monitor commissioning and project close-out processes.
- Work with client internal team to develop phased relocation plan which will act as foundation for relocation decisions, minimizing client downtime.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field.
- Senior Level experience managing large capital projects in the Life Science Industry.
- Pre-construction/construction management experience/knowledge.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
