IT Helpdesk Technician
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Assist with user account management and access control
- Conduct software installations and upgrades
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and patches
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Mac OS and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Understanding of computer networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
VoIP Provisioning and Support:
-Handle VoIP provisioning for new users, including setup and configuration of VoIP phones and extensions.
-Provide ongoing support for VoIP-related inquiries, troubleshooting connectivity, and audio quality issues.
-Collaborate with VoIP service providers to resolve complex VoIP-related problems.Note:
