What you'll do

DocuSign is seeking a highly motivated Senior Marketing Business Systems Analyst to join our Business Application Engineering team. As a Senior Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing marketing systems, with a main focus on technology infrastructure supporting lead generation, distribution, and management. This role involves strategic planning, system architecture, and leadership in ensuring the effective utilization of marketing technologies.

The ideal candidate enjoys fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where they can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. This role requires collaboration skills when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions, as well as mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing Product Management.

Responsibility

  • Lead technical aspects of key marketing systems including CRM: Eloqua, Tray.io, LeanData and Salesforce CRM used to generate, distribute, and report on leads
  • Produce and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact
  • Explore data to find trends, discover key performance indicators, and apply proper hypothesis testing
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Create and lead marketing automation workflows
  • Develop and implement A/B testing and other experiments to improve marketing performance
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure the timely delivery of marketing projects
  • Know the latest industry trends and best practices in marketing technology and automation, and evaluate and recommend new technologies that can improve the effectiveness of the lead conversions
  • Understand the business requirements and marketing goals of the organization, and translate them into technical requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, IT, and Data & Analytics to ensure that the marketing technology solutions meet the needs of the business
  • Leverage business process knowledge and expertise to identify gaps and recommend system improvements
  • Develop a solution prototype and define the path to production
  • Influence and gain alignment with key partners on solution implementation
  • Participate in and drive technology and System Integrator selection
  • Define clear problem statements, develop solution options, and present recommendations to key collaborators to drive consensus
  • Coach and mentor team members to make them more effective

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
  • 8 years of experience as Marketing Operations or Systems Analyst
  • Experience with Snowflake and similar data warehouse platforms to run and analyze data
  • Experience with processes including Campaign to Lead, Lead to Opportunity, Opportunity to Quote, and Customer Success motions
  • Experience with enterprise system implementations for global companies with Annual Revenue >$5B
  • Experience in working on an agile scrum team
  • Experience with marketing automation integrations and APIs
  • Experience with API integrations using an iPaaS platform (e.g., Tray.io, Microsoft PowerApps, Workato, Integromat, Zapier)
  • Experience specifically with REST APIs and working with JSON
  • Experience using SQL queries in a data warehouse
  • Experience with consent management workflow

Preferred

  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Business Administration
  • IT industry experience at enterprise scale
  • Experience with data architecture and API access
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt as needed
  • Experience developing, managing, and coaching teams
  • Expertise in implementing Marketing Automation Platforms like Eloqua, Marketo, CDP, and Demandbase for ABM
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Ability to multi-task and scale quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teammate able to work with global cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Data and Analytics skills

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $118,300 - $182,775 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
