HR Business Partner

As the HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with leaders across various client groups spanning multiple locations throughout the US, encompassing both local and global scopes. You will engage with dynamic leaders who value your innovative ideas and drive, within a cohesive team of HRBPs committed to sharing insights and best practices. You will be an integral member of your business groups' Leadership Team, collaborating closely to actualize strategic objectives.

Day to Day

  • Engage in strategic planning, overseeing organizational development initiatives, succession planning, career pathing, and offering coaching and leadership advice on HR-related matters.
  • Serve as the primary contact for business leaders regarding organizational development projects, such as workforce development, reorganizations, or streamlining departmental efficiencies.
  • Proactively contribute to the development and maintenance of the business's succession plans, collaborating with stakeholders to create and implement development plans for high-potential individuals within the organization.
  • Coach leaders and their teams to foster transparent and constructive discussions, enhancing the member-manager relationship while elevating leadership skills and promoting self-reliance in HR policies and practices.
  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and interventions with managers and team members to cultivate effective working relationships.
  • Collaborate with Employee Relations Specialists to address complex employee relations issues, including compliance and legal matters, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Partner with department managers and the Total Rewards team to develop job descriptions, conduct compensation analysis, and implement grading and recognition initiatives.
  • Offers leadership guidance on compensation matters such as promotions, market adjustments, annual merit, and short-term incentive planning.
  • Support the implementation of learning initiatives to foster member development and career progression.

Essentials

  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field to human resources preferred.
  • Experience working in a complex matrixed organization; preferably in a global company.
  • Thorough knowledge of the US employment law is required.
  • Hands-on experience in succession planning and career pathing is highly desired.
  • Key competencies include Strategic Agility, Comfortable with Ambiguity, Advocate for Change, Business Acumen, Trusted Advisor, Executive Presence, Strong Influencing Skills and a commitment to challenging the status quo.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to lead facilitated sessions and make formal presentations.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to develop, present and implement HR strategic plans.
  • Must have proven experience working with all levels of management and to be comfortable with conflict and negotiation as well as interactions with senior management.

Applicable Pay Range

$88,996.19-$133,494.28

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
