• Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Treasury Generalist to join our finance team. As a Treasury Generalist, your primary responsibilities will include managing ACH transactions, conducting bank reconciliations, performing sales tax reconciliations, and ensuring accurate sales tax filings. Your meticulous approach to financial operations will contribute to maintaining our company's financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

 ACH Transaction Management:

•  Initiate, review, and monitor ACH transactions for various financial activities such as vendor payments, employee payroll, and customer refunds.
•  Maintain precise records of ACH transactions, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
•  Proactively address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to ACH transactions.

 Bank Reconciliations:

•  Conduct Daily bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company accounts and bank statements.
•  Identify and rectify discrepancies between internal financial records and bank data.
•  Collaborate closely with the accounting and finance teams to promptly resolve any disparities and uphold accurate financial documentation.

 Sales Tax Reconciliations:

•  Perform thorough sales tax reconciliations to validate that collected sales taxes match recorded transactions.
•  Investigate and resolve discrepancies between sales tax collected and sales reported.
•  Work in tandem with relevant teams to correct any errors and maintain compliance with sales tax regulations.

Sales Tax Filing:

•  Prepare, review, and submit accurate sales tax returns in adherence with state and local regulations.
•  Stay up-to-date with evolving sales tax laws to ensure precise reporting and timely submissions.
•  Manage the reconciliation of sales tax accounts and effectively manage any sales tax-related inquiries or audits.

 Cash Flow Management:

•  Assist in monitoring and forecasting cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
•  Collaborate with the finance team to enhance cash management strategies and capitalize on investment opportunities.

 Documentation and Reporting:

•  Maintain meticulous documentation of all treasury activities, processes, and protocols.
•  Generate regular reports concerning ACH transactions, bank reconciliations, and sales tax reconciliations for internal reviews and audits.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to Bank Reconciliations and Sales Tax processes.

Qualifications:

• · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• · 3-5 years post undergraduate experience in treasury operations, ACH transaction management, bank reconciliations, sales tax reconciliations, and sales tax filing.
• · Proficiency in financial software and tools, including treasury management systems and accounting software.
• · Sound comprehension of ACH processes, bank reconciliation methodologies, and sales tax regulations.
• · Exemplary attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and adept problem-solving capabilities.
• · Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• High ethical standards and commitment to upholding the confidentiality of financial data.
