As a Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor, this role involves delivering high-quality and transparent clinical mental health services to fulfill the needs of Diversus Health's clients. Duties include...

• Performs independent nursing assessments, communicates critical information, differentiating conditions/symptoms, follow up with triage, use appropriate clinical interventions to stabilize and treat clients.
• Provides direct client care to include but not limited to vital signs, medication injections, basic nursing and hygiene care, EKG, lab specimen collections, medication administration with follow-up assessments, crisis care, CPR/ First Aid as clinically indicated and/or ordered by prescriber.
• Conducts vital signs, medication reconciliation, check-in and check-out processes, and/or admissions and discharges under ordered protocols, conduct testing and assessments under ordered protocols.
• Analyzes and documents findings of medical and medication management, performs mental and substance use assessments.
• Collaborates with other team members to conduct comprehensive, client assessments and develops treatment plans, including providing care coverage across multiple service lines.
• Provides consumers and families with education on psychotropic medications, and related health conditions and monitors medication compliance; supports and provides quality client care through effective assessment, and individual and supportive therapies.

• Assists in the management of psychiatric crisis; prepares written orders from the physician. • Provides concurrent billing and medical/legal documentation meeting time and accuracy requirements.

• Performs client care optimizing client safety and risk reduction to include but not limited to reduction in health care errors, safety planning, following safety check protocols as ordered, seeking team collaboration or supervisor input for potentially risk situations, and continuously observing client behaviors, mental status, and activities.

Qualifications:

• BSN or MSN
• RN Licensure in good standing with no restrictions in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years previous leadership and/or Charge Nurse experience.
• Must excellent communication skills verbally and in writing including adhering to professional documentation standards
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills and customer driven care skills.
• Ability to analyze statistical data.
• Experience and knowledge of managed-care principles JACHO and state regulations, best clinical/nursing practices, business and leadership theory and models, critical thinking and team building, and CDC best practices
