Job description:
- Power Design and Configuration Standardization: Develop rack level Power Configuration standards for each network platform and rack type. Drive consistency in Power configurations and mitigate risk for the network.
- Workflow Implementation: Implement a new in-rack Power Design Workflow with cross-functional review process. This includes building engineering Design packages (EDP) to be used by ENS and field deployment teams.
- Installation Standardization: Implement a new standard operating procedure for Power install and field QA/QC. Ensure safety for all parties involved while improving the quality of the installation.
- Power Monitoring and Automation: Implement Power Monitoring from smart PDUs and upstream Power infrastructure. Improve visibility and capabilities for proactive detection of network Power issues.
- Ownership Clarification: Clarify and document Ownership on Design, Implementation, and operations for network power.
- network Power Product Sourcing: Support Meta Sourcing teams with in-rack Power material forecasts and supplier diversity initiatives
- network Power Product Design and Configuration: Lead network equipment rack-level Power Product development initiatives for ENS, including new vendor Product development and selection, testing, and operationalization.
- network Power Monitoring and Alerting: Implement Power Monitoring improvements from smart in-rack PDUs and upstream Power infrastructure to Improve visibility and proactive detection of network Power issue.
