Accenture Federal Services is Hiring a Network Deployment Engineer Near Reston, VA
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Network Engineer to be a member of the Site Survey workstream, responsible for the intake, scheduling, coordination, and execution of all site surveys. As a member of the site deployment team, you will be responsible for the design and execution of all customer site installations following the findings from the site survey. You will work with stakeholders to design the network infrastructure, taking pre-existing systems into consideration, generate bill of materials (BOM), coordinate equipment ordering and execute local installation and configuration. Requires 75% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Execute work with precision in time sensitive outage scenarios
- Identify and drive recovery levers with feature teams
- Interact with external customers and partners on behalf of the customer
- Diagnose/debug faults in complex services or distributed systems
- Identify and script automatable problems
Here's what you need:
- 5 years of experience in IT service operations OR a bachelor’s degree, in lieu of experience
- 3 years of experience deploying enterprise network gear including routers, switches, and firewalls
- 3 year of experience diagnosing/debugging faults in complex services or distributed systems
- 3 years of experience with routing protocols and IP subnetting
Bonus points if you have:
- Exposure to hosting providers, online services, or internet service provider environment
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols (e.g. DNS, FTP, SSH, ACL, VLAN, DMZ, BGP) as well as network architecture and connectivity
- CCNA or CCNP certification
Security Clearance:
- TS/SCI required
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:
California: $100,800 - $185,800
Colorado: $100,800 - $160,400
New York: $93,400 - $185,800
Washington State: $107,500 - $170,800
