Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate data entry, and coordinating with various departments to optimize stock levels and logistics.
Duties:
- Conduct data mining and analysis to identify inventory trends and make informed procurement decisions
- Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, and organizing stock
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials at the best possible price
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer demands
- Perform regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory processes and implement efficient logistics strategies
- Utilize AS400 or similar inventory management systems to track and update inventory records
- Generate reports on inventory performance, including stock levels, turnover rates, and cost analysis
Experience:
- Proven experience in inventory management or related field
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and utilize data effectively
- Knowledge of warehouse management principles and materials management techniques
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems (e.g., AS400)
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
