We are hiring an experienced, full-time Facility Security Officer (FSO) . The DVS FSO is located at DVS Headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA and is responsible for all facets of DVS' Security Program including facility clearance, personnel security clearances, visitor control, and physical security.

This position requires an active Top Secret security clearance.

DVS is seeking an FSO with exceptional work ethic, the ability to work independently, has a demonstrated record of strong initiative, accomplished verbal / written communication skills, as well as demonstrated good working relationship with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and DoD and / or Intelligence Community Customers.

The FSO will support DVS' mission, values, goals, and culture and must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels of the company.

The FSO will be responsible for interpreting and applying policies, developing and implementing security programs, drafting plans and procedures to ensure mission success and accurate, up to date compliance records with corporate policies and national security regulations and reporting as set forth in 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule.

Qualifications :

• Active Top-Secret eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3 years of industrial security experience as an FSO performing the functions of implementing a corporate security program including security policies in compliance with federal regulations, document control, visitor control, and security education of employees.

This experience must include comprehensive knowledge of the DoD classified contract process.

• DoD Tools proficiency : NISS, DISS, NISP, SWFT.
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel).
• Completion of Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) FSO Course for Non-Possessing Facilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, organized, flexible, resourceful, and efficient.
• Confidentiality is crucial to this role, and strong decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
