Dine Development Corporation is Hiring a Remote System Administrator

Job Summary:

Dine Source is seeking a System Administrator to join our team to provide the management and technical support necessary to advance AFRL EBS services, infrastructure, capabilities and technologies. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of hands-on development, problem solving skills and experience delivering solutions to end users. Additionally, strong technical and communication skills are needed to work with experienced technical teams and in-turn communicate with non-technical employees and customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, configure, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot platforms and OS. Maintain, administer, and update OS, products, applications, and services.
  • Build, maintain, and administer license servers; develop change plans for modifications; and provide information assurance, server, virtualization and storage support. Maintain, administer, and update third party applications.
  • Provide support for OS and third-party application workstation products and shall create and maintain custom ad hoc scripting and configuration controls, to include security and update patches.
  • Maintain Domain Name Service administration and configuration. Support solutions for container technology, container monitoring, and micro services. Operate and maintain configuration management tools.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is a plus. Industry recognized certifications or experience also considered.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in providing desktop support in a Microsoft environment
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM or Office 365 Endpoint Manager is a plus.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience providing server and network support in an Enterprise environment utilizing both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience with Automation via PowerShell, and other CLI and Microsoft technologies a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization, external clients, and the vendors we work with.
  • Be a technology advocate and helping to identify technical opportunities that will enhance the end-user experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2013/2016/Office 365, Windows Server 2016/2019, Microsoft SQL Server, VMware vSphere, and VEEAM platforms.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • High standards coupled with accountability and ownership for your work
  • A strong work ethic with the willingness and drive to succeed.
  • To work well within a team and highly collaborative environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organization and planning skills with the ability to manage priorities and commitments in a productive manner.
