Job Summary:

Dine Development Corporation's subsidiary, NOVA-Dine, is looking for a talented IT professional to join our team as a Network Technician for the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform initial discovery efforts, defining data collection requirements based on inputs needed to develop a successful migration plan.
• Utilize advanced data analysis techniques and benchmarks to define the future state migration plan, and the pre-migration activities necessary to close gaps.
• Forecast backend infrastructure needs resulting from the migration of over 20 agencies into a single architecture.
• Design solutions, integrate, configure, test and deploy numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies.
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management.
• Conduct data captures to obtain network performance information.
• Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools.
• Configure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components.
• Gather needed data to specify system/component performance and interface requirements
• Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN’s, firewall contexts, Traffic Shaping Voice over IP (VoIP), GRE Tunneling, IP Security (IPSec), IP Encryption, Media over IP (MoIP), and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

Active Secret clearance is required!

• DoD IAT Level II (Security ) certification or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency with enterprise-class Voice over IP technologies and other IP/transport specific management tools (EMS) and general practices. Expertise in IP technologies, i.e. Networking architectures and methodologies.
