Area Sales Managers are responsible for attaining the established sales, gross margin, staffing, credit and inventory goals for an assigned area.

Responsibilities includes recruiting, coaching and supervising all associates assigned to the area, including reviewing job performance, addressing concerns and motivating all associates to achieve established sales goals.

• To participate in the selection of a high-performance sales team.
• To maintain a high-performance team through educating, coaching, motivating, and appraising performance.
• To manage the team schedule within budgeted hours and based on business needs.
• Maintain proper inventory control through weekly price change process, incoming receipts, and inventory counts as directed by corporate.
