Diligent Robotics is Hiring a People Operations Generalist Near Austin, TX

People Operations Generalist (This role is based in Austin, TX and requires you to be in office)

We are looking for a People Operations Generalist to join the People team. This role will be responsible for managing data and systems on the People team, including compensation, performance and engagement tools. You will work closely with other members of the team, like the People Business Partner, Recruiter etc to deliver cohesive and thoughtful solutions to the organization. This person will also work closely with Finance, IT and Legal to ensure our protocols and practices are clearly documented and consistently followed. A problem-solver by nature, the successful candidate will passionately drive operational excellence, process efficiency, and deliver a positive employee experience. They are comfortable in ambiguous situations, remove obstacles and work towards finding optimal solutions. This role reports to the VP of People.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee consistently high-quality output for all People Operations functions, such as onboarding, offboarding, immigration, payroll and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
  • Publish updated Employee Handbook, that includes clear protocols and policies for key areas of the employee lifecycle. Execute immigration programs. Work with Immigration law firms on various visa applications.
  • Manage People Operations analytics. Assess areas of opportunity, determine approach, compile and analyze data and prepare reports/recommendations to define people operations strategies related to people systems and processes. Maintain current and compliant employee data and analysis and assist with evaluation and implementation of an internal HRIS.
  • Maintain and administer processes and systems related to onboarding, compensation, benefits administration, leave administration, immigration, policy administration, reward programs and offboarding
  • Own benefits administration, assist employees with enrollment, process contributions and answer employee questions about our plans. Communicate any plan changes to employees and manage annual open enrollments.
  • Champion collaborative cross functional relationships with other operations teams, payroll and hiring managers to ensure the successful onboarding and offboarding of new employees and contingent workers
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relates to your role. Be an ambassador of company culture and drive initiatives to constantly build upon and improve culture. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth tech company / start-up
  • Ability to work at all levels of the HR “stack” - strategic, operational, and tactical
  • Experience building, maintaining and presenting HR data analytics
  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization
