• Assisting the Deli / Seafood Management Team in running a smooth and efficient operation
• Overseeing the presentation and quality of all food products with a commitment to consistency, portion control and profitability
• Helping to train, develop and motivate Associates and build a strong, cohesive team
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary department and adhering to proper food-handling procedures, while keeping food safety top of mind
• Providing friendly, amazing service to every customer

What you need to succeed

• 1 years of food-service experience (deli, restaurant or quick serve), preferably in a supervisory role
• Ability to provide excellent customer service while also managing people to bring out their strengths
• A multi-tasker who enjoys an extremely fast pace and is willing to learn and excel at a wide variety of tasks
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• The flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends - most Deli / Seafood departments close by 8pm!

Physical Requirements

• Lifting & Carrying - Up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Pushing & Pulling - Up to 20 lbs. force occasionally
• Occasional - Sit, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, climb, overhead reach, & shovel
• Frequent - Head turn, trunk bend, side reach, grasp, power grip, pinch, finger manipulation, & feel
• Constant - Forward reach, standing, & handling
