Job Description:
We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also be responsible for reconciling accounts to ensure their accuracy. MUST have experience with reporting Florida State Sales Tax. Must have experience in construction & manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
