Job Description:

Our client is a civil contractor that specializes in piping construction projects. They are looking to hire a Superintendent in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Experience and Skills:

• Must have 3-10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Must have 3-10 years of experience with Civil Construction
• Must have 3-10 years of experience managing Piping and Underground Utilities Projects
• Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop detailed project plans
• Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and deadlines
• Monitor the performance of construction crews to ensure work is carried out according to specifications and safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with building codes and regulations
• Foster effective communication between project team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and provide regular project updates to senior management and clients
• Monitor project costs and work closely with the project management team to control expenses
• Proactively identify and address potential challenges or obstacles that may impact project progress
• BS in Construction Management or similar preferred
