Diamond Peak Recruiting is Hiring a Construction Professional Engineer Near Cincinnati, OH

Job Description:

Our client is a an engineering and surveying firm that specializes in residential and commercial projects. They are looking to hire a Professional Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Experience and Skills:

  • Must have 3-10 years of experience as a Professional Engineer
  • Must have P.E. Certification
  • Lead the design process for residential and commercial projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and road design, adhering to local codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with architects, land planners, surveyors, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive land development plans that meet project objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget constraints
  • Ensure all subdivision designs and land development plans comply with zoning ordinances, environmental regulations, and other applicable local, state, and federal requirements
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams including surveyors, environmental consultants, regulatory agencies, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Conduct technical analyses, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to evaluate project viability and identify potential challenges or opportunities for optimization
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in design documents, construction plans, and specifications
  • Provide technical support and oversight during the construction phase, including reviewing contractor submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and regulatory standards
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • BS in Civil Engineering or similar preferred
