Responsibilities:

The IT Security Engineer will report to the Director of Information Security and will be responsible for ensuring the protection of Diamond Offshores information systems and critical assets through the day-to-day management of all projects and operations activities, services, and personnel pertaining to Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations, Threat Management functions, and lead Systems implementation and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT management to develop and implement long-term, worldwide technical direction, strategies, and initiatives, ensuring the delivery of reliable, innovative, and secure solutions aligned with IT's mission.
• Responsible for the design, implementation, execution, and operations of multiple enterprise-wide security solutions to address current and future cybersecurity needs as they are identified and prioritized for global IT operations.
• Responsible for ensuring quality delivery and timely execution of cybersecurity services, including vulnerability scanning & remediation, threat & vulnerability mitigation recommendations.
• In conjunction with the SOC, monitor and respond to potential daily threats, incidents, and periodic security assessment testing.
• Assists in the development of cybersecurity strategy/technology roadmaps and ticketing metrics/measures packages.
• Collaborate in the evaluation, recommendation, planning and implementation of strategic and tactical infrastructure projects worldwide.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and guidance to other IT teams for problem resolution, applications development projects and operational support.
• Develop process and lead teams for consistent execution of server and workstation patching.
• Evaluate new cybersecurity products and technologies as needed to assess their use within the company network.
• Manage and support stability and reliability efforts for the IT infrastructure, including the diagnosis and resolution of complex technical problems.
• Support IT compliance by adhering to change control, risk assessment, and release management processes and procedures.
• Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and safety programs.
• Follow Diamond Offshore Global Excellence Management System (G.E.M.S.)
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with a proven technical proficiency in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting advanced Cybersecurity technologies.
• Proficient in using Splunk, Cisco, Palo Alto firewalls.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise with scripting and automation with PowerShell.
• Experience with IT methods and best practices such as ITIL methods and processes.
• Experience in a global company working across major geographic regions.
