Network Security Engineer:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their team!
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer with expertise in IDS/IPS, Dark Trace, and FortiGate to strengthen our cybersecurity team.
Responsibilities:

• Network Security Implementation:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust network security architectures and solutions.
  • Deploy and configure Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) for real-time threat detection and response.

• Dark Trace Expertise:

  • Utilize Dark Trace to monitor, analyze, and respond to potential security threats.
  • Investigate and mitigate incidents detected by Dark Trace to ensure the security posture of the network.

• FortiGate Firewall Management:

  • Manage and configure FortiGate firewalls to safeguard network infrastructure.
  • Implement and enforce security policies to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.

• Incident Response:

  • Develop and execute incident response plans to address security incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with the IT and cybersecurity teams to contain, eradicate, and recover from security breaches.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience:

  • 2 years of professional experience in network security engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, Dark Trace, and Fortigate.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in configuring and managing network security technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.

• Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.

• Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
