Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager
Job Summary: The Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to Account Managers and Producers in the insurance industry. This position involves handling various tasks such as processing policy changes, endorsements, and invoices, as well as assisting with renewals, claims, and client inquiries. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a leading insurance organization. Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Account Managers and Producers, including processing policy changes, endorsements, and invoicing.
Assist with checking and binding policies, handling billing inquiries, and managing claims and cancellations.
Coordinate audits, download policy forms, and order motor vehicle reports as needed.
Support Account Managers in surplus lines procedure requirements, reporting forms, and online rating programs.
Collaborate with Account Managers to gather renewal information from clients, update applications, and prepare renewal and new business submissions for the market.
Visit various carrier websites to download policies, endorsements, and loss history reports.
Serve as administrative backup for answering calls, distributing mail and packages, sending faxes, and performing general clerical duties.
Issue certificates of insurance and provide general support to account managers and producers as assigned.
Maintain accurate and complete client data in Epic including policy details and documents, activities, and attachments.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty License.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); EPIC/Applied agency software knowledge a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
