We are seeking Resident Life Navigators, Shelter Aides, Emergency Services Coordinators, or anyone with a background in Shelter services to become part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Community Life Supervisor, the Shelter Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the daily operation of Denver Rescue Mission Emergency Shelters, and overseeing the many activities that unfold within. This includes extending a warm welcome to guests, managing safety and security within the facility, responding to emergencies, and working as part of a collaborative team during evening hours. The Shelter Associate is a full-time, non-exempt position with Denver Rescue Mission, contributing significantly to the operational goals at all Denver facilities.

Since 1892, we’ve been changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need, with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens.

Schedules: 4:30 PM -11:30 PM
Hiring Range: $18.08 - $22.55 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differential for working nights (6:00 pm - 6:00 am), based on qualifications and experience
