Candidates must have 1 - 5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in the areas of business, construction, real estate, personal injury or commercial litigation. The positions are full time and on site at either the Hallandale Beach or Coral Gables offices. The firm represents clients in commercial litigation, construction law, condominiums and homeowners’ associations, real estate, contract consulting, estate planning, and business entities. The firm prides itself on boutique firm values with big firm capabilities.
Duties for the Associate Attorney position include, drafting complaints, answers/affirmative defenses, demand letters and motions; preparing for, attending, and arguing motions in court; drafting discovery pleadings, and responses to discovery requests. Ideal candidates will have experience taking and defending depositions, managing discovery, and handling motion practice, as well as, a demonstrated ability to manage assigned cases with the highest level of professionalism and ethics.
