delta constructors is Hiring a Field Project Coordinator Near Prudhoe Bay, AK

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide logistical and transportation support for site visits by Delta’s clients.
  • Assist Delta’s Project Management Team as needed, with tasks such as writing daily reports and scrubbing transmittals, schedules, and equipment inventories.
  • Assist Delta’s Project Engineering Team as needed, with tasks such as taking photos, gathering information for RFI’s, materials tracking, tag fabrication, and giving low-level technical support to Delta’s field personnel.
  • Assist Delta’s Field Teams on an ad-hoc basis with expediting of materials
  • Additional duties as required. Duties assigned will largely depend on previous experience and the ability to learn.
  • Review subcontractor daily reports and vet against invoices as required
  • Additional duties as assigned by Project Manager or Superintendent
  • This is a full-time field position lasting until late Fall 2023. Rotation will be 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or similar.
  • Potential to transition to a long-term position to support future Projects under Delta’s 3-year Campaign Construction Program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred. Engineering or Project Management degrees are of particular interest.
  • 9mo or more of experience outside of school, involving heavy industry, construction, manufacturing, transportation, logistics, or similar.
  • Experience working in cold weather (<10F).
  • Proven fluency with computers is required, including ability to quickly learn new software systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Current and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • NSTC certification with 2022 ASH and H2S module, or ability to obtain upon hire (1-day online course).
  • Preference will be given to Alaska residents or to applicants willing to relocate to Alaska.

  • Ability to perform all work in a safe manner that meets company & client standards.
  • This position involves high visibility with Delta’s clients. A high level of professionalism is required.
  • Must be self-motivated and exercise self-initiative.
  • Strong interest in learning and in adapting to perpetual change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work with personnel from all walks of life.

  • Housing, meals, FRC’s, and transportation are provided while on the North Slope. Transportation between Anchorage and the North Slope is provided.
