Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Senior in Charlotte, North Carolina and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations, and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document, support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Recommending, designing, and implementing Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Managed Cloud, Server Virtualization and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions;
• Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Microsoft (MS) Azure;
• Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions using MS Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and VMware;
• Designing and implementing disaster recovery, storage architecture, and network architecture, utilizing Azure Site Recovery, Commvault, AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS), AWS Simple Storage Service (S3), Azure Blob Storage, NetApp Filer, Hub and Spoke Topology, VMware Networking and Security Virtualization (NSX);
• Performing root cause analysis and documenting results using AWS CloudWatch, VMware vRealize Operations, Azure Monitor, and ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM); and
• Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization and automation using Shift Left Approach, Design Thinking, Greenfield Implementation Approach, Backup and Restore, Azure Site Recovery, and VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
