Delfino's Chicago Style Pizza is a local and independently owned restaurant located in University Village for over 30 years. Our mobile food truck ha been serving individual Chicago Style Pizzas throughout the Seattle area since 2015.
Our food truck has a set weekly lunch schedule and serves area breweries, festivals, weddings, and private events during the evening and on weekends.
Food truck experience is strongly preferred but not required. A good driving record and a passion for great service, a team environment, and peak performance is a must. You will be responsible for loading inventory into the truck at University Village and vending from different places throughout the Seattle-Metro area. Monitoring the vehicle and equipment is essential along with leading a team during each service. Depending on the event, the truck can manage with a crew between 1-3 people. Prior truck driving and additional licenses are not required. Onsite training provided.
Duties include:
- Driving and loading the truck - Monitoring and filling with gas, diesel and Propane - Ensure equipment is working properly - Preparing and serving on location - Having knowledge of all food items - Responding to customer issues/concerns - Training and monitoring employee performance - Taking inventory and communicating food orders - Accurately recording finances and deposits - Keeping up with cleaning standards
Must have:
- WA State Drivers License - Food Worker Card - Ability to lift 35 lbs - Great organization/time management skills - Ability to work independently and with a team - Self motivation and ability to handle situations with little direction - Positive and friendly attitude along with a willing to learn - Technical skills to use and troubleshoot POS and online ordering
Compensation is extremely competitive and depends on experience and ability. This is an hourly and tipped position that also includes PTO and a health care stipend. References strongly preferred.
