POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and reporting of a portfolio of projects and programs; overseeing the dependencies between interconnected projects and managing portfolio-level plans to achieve strategic objectives. The incumbent will manage a portfolio of projects that are typically less defined with a long duration, high risk and complexity, and are components of larger programs. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to quality standards and meet customer expectations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides clear direction on project requirements and plans across the company at the project team, manager and director levels.
Identifies project issues and proactively implements plans to resolve such issues and mitigate project impact
Determines resource needs and ensures allocated resources are aligned with forecasted work
Performs quality reviews of project deliverables for compliance to established practices and standards
Coordinates and escalates communication with all appropriate areas of the company to mitigate the impact of changes to project scope, budget, resources and risk.
Prepares reports and provides updates to internal staff, senior management and leadership teams that detail project status.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is frequently required to sit or stand for long periods. The individual is occasionally required to walk, stand, and squat; use hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The position is performed in a traditional office setting that is moderately quiet.
