Job Summary
Deer State is hiring a highly analytical, critical thinker, and experienced Product Manager, passionate about building Digital products to support company’s E-commerce business. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with our business goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Define and measure outcomes & key results to drive business benefit in markets.
  • Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to define the product vision and strategy.
  • Conduct workshops with the business to gather product requirements (including acceptance criteria) and work with engineering teams on implementation and testing.
  • Manage the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog management, and product release cycles.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and align with organization short- and long-term strategy.
  • Initiates primary and secondary research studies to determine market needs, competitor strength and positioning, member satisfaction and product requirements.
  • Setting, clearly communicating, and tracking meaningful goals, managing your own deliverables as well as the progress of others, motivating the team to achieve the expected results, and holding them accountable for doing so, redirecting their efforts when necessary.
  • Identifying, tracking, and reporting out on various KPIs to measure the team's success.

Qualifications

  • Option 1 - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related area.
  • Option 2 - 5 years’ experience in product management or related area.
  • 3 years of experience in digital product development/management, with strong supporting skills to include product management, business analysis, project management, UX & design expertise, and requirements writing.
  • Skilled in developing roadmaps, program plans, business cases, and realization strategies to support recommendations.
  • Experience launching B2B and B2C products in e-commerce, or retail space.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile applications and software development processes
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and system architecture
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas into component parts and communicate that vision clearly to a broad audience.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrated leadership, organized, detailed, collaborative, excellent written and oral skills.
  • Practical experience working within the Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies.
