Prep Cooks are responsible for working primarily in the food service operation, preparing the cooking ingredients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep.
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
- Undertake basic cooking duties, such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
- Prepare simple dishes, such as salads and entrees
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED
- 1 or more years of experience.
Job Details:
- Schedule varies; Typically Sunday-Saturday hours 12pm8-pm or 1pm-9pm
- Shifts vary (Must be flexible)
- $18/hr Starting based on experience benefits
- Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program
- Temp-to-Hire opportunity
