DBG Arkansas, LLC is Hiring a HR Manager (FT) Near Conway, AR

DBG is a custom metal manufacturer supplying components and value-added services to the Commercial Vehicle (Bus, Heavy & Medium Duty Truck), Automotive, Military, Agricultural, Construction & Consumer Goods Industries.
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to support our US Operations located in Conway, Arkansas to drive talent and engagement at all levels. Manage the day-to-day Human Resources Department activities and plan strategic / projects related to engagement, staffing needs, performance management, and training.
Summary:
  • Directs the planning, development, implementation, administration and budgeting of most or all the following human resource functions at the plant level.
  • Employee selection and placement, training, benefits, wage and salary administration, equal employment opportunity, unemployment and disability insurance, labor relations, employee records and maintenance.
  • Advises plant management in personnel policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions consistent with strategic direction.
Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain Human Resource policies and procedures. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect overall organization.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Receives assignment in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules/goals.
  • Develop and administer performance requirements.
  • Inform and update all Associates on company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a communication link between Associates and Management.
  • Actively participate in the hiring process with recruiting and interviewing.
  • Communicate and administer all Associate Benefits for the facility and all facets of the HRIS.
  • Develop, update and maintain Company policies & procedures and Human Resources files.
  • Schedule and chair Associate Committee Meetings and maintain the minutes.
  • Coordinate Performance Evaluations with the appropriate Manager/Team Leader.
  • Spearhead the Orientation Program for new Associates in conjunction with the other members of Management.
  • Coordinate, evaluate effectiveness and track all training internal and external.
  • Adhere to ISO/QS 9001 & TS16949 procedures. Champion Clauses 4.16, 4.18.
  • Budgeting and accountability for Human Resources related functions (SG&A, Office, H&S, Uniforms etc).
  • Work as a Team Member first with peers and subordinate Associates.
  • Establish and track key Human Resources indicators.
  • Coordinate Company social activities as required (picnic, Xmas Parties, etc) and projects as assigned by Plant Manager or Plant Management team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and

EDUCATION:
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.
  • Eight plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
  • Certified SPHR or SHRM-SCP.
