Job Description:

Days Inn Hotel is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall functionality and appearance of our hotel. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing guest room issues, and contributing to the safety and satisfaction of our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of the hotel premises to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and plumbing repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance.
• Collaborate with other hotel staff to prioritize and address maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prolong the life of equipment and facilities.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report to the management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance. preferred not necessary.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends and respond to emergency maintenance situations.

Requirements:

• additional technical certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in hotel maintenance is preferred.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
• Valid driver's license.
