About Us:
Dawson-Macdonald Co., Inc. is the oldest and largest distributor of surface preparation equipment in the northeast, with products composed primarily of equipment for abrasive blasting, shot peening, and dust/mist/fume collection.
We operate out of a 20,000 sq.ft. office/warehouse facility in our own 70,000 sq.ft. building complex in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Our four dedicated salespersons cover all six New England states, eastern New York State, the New York City metropolitan area (including Long Island), and northern New Jersey. Additionally, two inside salespersons complement the sales force.
```Duties```
- Diagnose and troubleshoot , and repair equipment in-house and at customers site.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
- Provide technical assistance to Customer Service and Sales Departments
-Technical duties include tasks both mechanical and electrical.
```Requirements```
- 5 years of relevant industrial equipment service experience
- Basic knowledge of industrial pneumatics and electrical systems a plus
- Able to understand and follow all safety rules and regulations at customer's sites
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Note: Occasional overnight stays at remote customer areas .
