Our leading global hedge fund is actively seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on security. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in DevOps practices, particularly within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and deep expertise in IAM (Identity and Access Management) and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain secure DevOps practices in a GCP environment.

- Design and manage IAM policies and structures, ensuring secure access control and identity management.

- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security.

- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and continuous monitoring to ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Respond promptly to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies, ensuring our systems are resilient against potential vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps, with a significant focus on security.

- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its security features.

- Profound knowledge of IAM best practices and experience in implementing robust security protocols.

- Experience in automating cloud deployments and managing large-scale infrastructure.

- Proficient in scripting languages and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform).

- Strong background in network security, encryption, and data protection methods.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with various stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

- Relevant certifications in GCP, security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSEC), and/or DevOps.

- Experience in the financial services industry, especially within hedge funds or trading environments.

- Familiarity with compliance regulations and standards relevant to the financial industry.
