Dasher is Hiring a Call Center (Community Engagement Specialist II) Near Harrisburg, PA

The Community Engagement Specialist II provides customer service support specifically designed to assist our community in a variety of areas via phone and written communication.

Call Center Agent

(Onsite/Hybrid) 

No nights or weekends

Paid holidays! 

What you can expect: 

  • Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
  •  $17/HR with benefits beginning first day.

  • Hybrid flexibility after introductory period.

Job Requirements: 

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) year of call center and customer service experience with inbound or outbound required. 
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred.
  • Experience with data entry. 
  • Basic computer experience in a Windows environment. 
  • Successfully complete intensive 12-week initial training course andparticipate in ongoing trainings, informal learning opportunities, supervisor mentoring and general professional development opportunities.

Summary: 

As a Community Engagement Specialist II, you will deliver members of the community with legendary customer service by providing complex information to a diverse population. 

How will you be helping: 

  • Effectively communicate programs to members via phone communications.
  • Collect data and information and databases 
  • Assist members in overcoming barriers faced when achieving health outcomes. 
  • Appropriately engage with the customer to advocate on their behalf to resolve issue.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and respond to customers and their issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ability to take direction and to navigate through multiple systems simultaneously. 
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful and fast-paced conditions. 
  • Effective active listening skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements/Conditions of Employment:

  • Ability to reach, bend or stoop to use files and records
  • Ability to manage prolonged period of sitting at a desk
  • Ability to read standard text and data on a computer terminal
  • Ability to hear conversations in a noisy environment
  • Ability to communicate verbally in person, over the telephone and in writing
