Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all maintenance operations in the manufacturing facility.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity and efficiency of equipment.
- Supervise the repair and maintenance of all machinery and equipment, including film extrusion machinery and flexible packaging machines.
- Coordinate with production team to schedule maintenance activities without hampering the production process.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are strictly followed during maintenance operations.
- Train and guide the maintenance team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary equipment and parts.
- Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify any signs of malfunctions or wear and tear.
- Implement innovative solutions to improve machinery efficiency and reduce downtime.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of film extrusion and flexible packaging machines.
- In-depth knowledge of polyethylene and its applications in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of machinery and equipment.
- Ability to manage a maintenance budget and resources effectively.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in mechanical or industrial engineering would be advantageous.
