Dark Horse Institute – Music College Sales Representative!

Dark Horse Institute is currently seeking a dynamic, consultative, self-motivated, and sales-oriented individual to join our Admissions team. In this role, you will guide potential students through the admissions process while inspiring them to pursue and succeed in their goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts virtual or in-person interviews with prospective students to evaluate the students’ interest, needs, and motivation, while highlighting the features and benefits of our program.
• Conducts individual and group tours highlighting the features and benefits.
• Motivate others to act, to include overcoming objections and resistance to change.
• Assists students in the application, enrollment, and relocation process.
• Keeps current on program offerings and seeks product knowledge.
• Inputs all activity into database management system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain thorough contact with candidates throughout the admissions process.
• Participate, help coordinate and HAVE FUN with campus activities including Open Houses, Student Appreciation days, New Class Orientation, etc.
• Maintains a cooperative and collaborate relationship with all departments to ensure a positive outcome for the student.
• Actively seeks to develop referrals for DHI.
• Develop a thorough understanding of all training programs offered by DHI.

Job Requirements

· High School diploma is required – Associates degree preferred.

• 2 to 3 years of successful sales experience, to include presenting, closing and follow up skills.

· Possess a Positive Attitude and enjoys being a self-starter!

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills with both staff and students

· Goal oriented and highly ethical

· Strong computer skills

· Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.

· Passion for music is a plus.

SALARY

· Salary is based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
