This position is part of the Field Sales Department located in Fargo and will be  fully remote. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide.You will be a part of the Commercial Excellence Teamand report to the Global CRM Managerresponsible for helping to drive data management and governance across two of Aldevron’s critical business applications Salesforce and D365.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Partner with data Owners and data Consumers to manage and resolve or remediate data issues with the support of the Commercial Excellence Team 

• Collaborate with business data Subject Matter Experts (SME’s), technology partners and cross-functional teams to develop understanding of data requirements, challenges and pain points 

• Translates business rules into data quality rules and participate in data governance policy creation, management and analyzing potential impacts of policy choices 

• Key contributor to data governance, ensuring complete and accurate data in core systems that reflects accurate data and reporting 

• Supports applications and platforms to enable effective sharing of data from authoritative data sources 

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least one year of experience working with data governance tools, methodologies, best practices and information security standards. 

• Familiarity with CRM and ERP platforms 

• Experience with SQL database and writing SQL queries 

• Understands data architecture practices 

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Ability to perform moderate business analysis and to collaborate effectively on data projects 

• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

The salary range for this role is $70,000- $90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
