Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales 1

The Opportunity

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our HVAC CSR / Inside Sales Representative position for our branch operations group, located at our Bay City,MI branch.

The CSR / Inside Sales Representative sells the organization’s products and services for prospective and established customers.

Whether at the counter, on the phone or through email or fax, the CSR handles customers’ needs by finding out what they need, answering questions, creating solutions, and ensuring a smooth and quick sales process.

Continuously increase sales while increasing overall customer satisfaction. The CSR is responsible for meeting established sales quotas.

Must be knowledgeable of the organization’s policies, procedures, practices, products, and services. The CSR / Inside Sales Representative partners with regional Territory Sales Managers to help drive territory coverage and maintain positive dealer relationships.

Responsibilities

May include :

• Maintain the parts showroom, keep showroom stocked and clean
• Greet and assist customers in person with product selection and / or technical questions
• Answer incoming calls, take and process customer orders
• Address and resolve customer issues on a timely basis
• Work with outside sales staff as necessary to communicate sales leads
• Assist warehouse with pulling and staging orders for delivery as needed
• Make hot shot deliveries as needed
• Participate in training and continuously learn about products and services in order to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills :

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Prior industry experience preferred

Requirements :

• Maintain valid driver’s license
• Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to exert up to 75lbs of force when moving heavy product
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.

Schedule

Typical workdays are Monday-Friday

Physical Requirements / Work Environment :
