Sales Associate

The sales associate/cashier greets customer in a friendly manner. He or she is responsible for taking customer orders, entering them accurately into the cash register, charge the correct amount, and follow all cash handling procedures. Cashiers are responsible for taking payments from customers, making change, and giving receipts. They generally operate a cash register or adding machine. Most modern cash registers automatically add the prices of items, total them, open the cash drawer, and provide a receipt. Some cashiers keep records of business transactions and prepare cash and checks for deposit in banks. The cashier/order taker suggests extra items as appropriate. Correctly enters orders into the cash register. The cashier/order taker follows all cash handling and security procedures. Contributes to meal assembly, delivery and service line quality & cleanliness. Cashiers must follow procedures and direction from Key Trainers, Shift Supervisors and Management.
