We are looking for Human Resources Generalist to endure effective and efficient HR transactions and fulfilling a supportive role to the HR Manager, aiding in the success of the Human Resources department’s strategic objectives. Responsible for administrative process improvement, procedural documentation, and recruiting by performing the following duties. Job description Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Complete ID DOL new hire and termination reporting. Work with HR Manager to develop various HR metrics for effective benchmarking, research, and forecasting. Manage recruiting and staffing logistics once position has been substantiated and hiring requisition has been approved. Ensure recruiting is pursued in a way that complies with applicable laws and Daher Kodiak Aircraft’s Affirmative Action plan. Facilitate company-wide committees and participation as necessary and requested by HR Manager. Participate in employee orientation and separation as needed. Research and provide education materials to managers and employees including workshops, manuals, handbooks, etc. Perform audits of programs, recordkeeping standards, and other employment practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Back-up for bi-weekly Payroll processing. Administer FMLA program. Maintain and administer Kodiak Aircraft benefit programs, including orientation, open enrollment, and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Become super-user with UKG and Workday HRIS system. Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for degree. Working knowledge of employment practices, compliance, and planning. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel. Ability to effectively present information to executive level management and/or public groups. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk and sit; is occasionally required to stand; is regularly required to use both hands to make coordinated movements; is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear; is regularly required to lift and /or move up to 10 pounds occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Proper lifting technique is required.
